Why we built MiruKit

Finding a useful site just to make a photo smaller was harder than it should have been.
Ads covered the screen, sign-ups got in the way, photos had to be uploaded—or the tool didn't do what we needed.
So we built the tools we use most, all in one place.

Here's what matters to us at MiruKit.

• Start right away. No account or installation needed.
• Photos are processed on your device. They're never uploaded.
• We try to keep quality when reducing file size. First we look for a way without quality loss, then lower it gradually if needed.
• Open tricky formats too, including iPhone HEIC photos and AVIF.

MiruKit combines the Japanese word miru (見る, to see) with kit, a set of tools.
We'll keep adding useful tools. If there's something you'd like, let us know.
